Sweet cherry, blackberry, exotic spice and barbecue smoke play supporting roles on the bouquet of the 2010 Brunello di Montalcino Campo del Drago. This is a broad and richly extracted Tuscan red that shows soft tannins, beautiful smoothness and rich consistency. This vintage also shows an impressive level of power and intensity that adds muscle, but that also shows good balance and integration. It makes sense to hold off from drinking this wine for the next five years. Mar 2016, www.robertparker.com
