The Scottish Highlands
Geographically speaking, the Highlands is the largest whisky-producing region in Scotland. Somewhat confusingly, the Highlands includes Speyside and producers from the Speyside region can label their whisky as a Highland single malt. The Macallan is probably the most famous example of this.
