Tasting Notes
Jean-Marie Fourrier sources fruit for his Latricières-Chambertin from a plot of 60-year-old vines just next to the Route des Grands Crus. This is an intoxicating wine – with rose aromatics and lifted fruit on the nose. The palate is juicy and vibrant, delivering on all the nose’s promise – with layers of fruit from darker cherry through to bright raspberry, all mingling with a wave of crushed chalk, sweet baking spice and a hint of white pepper. Long, nuanced and beautifully fresh.

About the producer
Jean-Marie Fourrier is the négociant arm of Domaine Fourrier, introduced from the 2011 vintage. Fourrier established the operation to expand his Burgundy offering yet not wishing to lumber his children with the massive debt that purchasing additional vineyards would incur.
