Tasting Notes
The fruit for Hudelot-Noëllat’s Bourgogne Rouge comes from 18 parcels around Chambolle-Musigny and the result punches well above its weight. Already bottled when tasted in November 2023, it’s bright and lifted, full of sweet cherry fruit and floral aromatics. Juicy and fresh, there’s a mouth-watering salinity and savoury note that brings a serious edge to the charming, gluggable wine.

The 2022 Bourgogne Rouge is charming and expressive, bursting with aromas of cherries, raspberries and sweet spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and succulent palate.
An extremely fresh and bright nose is comprised mostly by red berry aromas that are in keeping with the equally bright, delicious and well-detailed flavors that conclude in a lightly austere and rustic finale. This refreshing effort should drink well after only a year or so of keeping. Drink 2025+
In bottle. A cherry to crimson colour. Fine, pleasing, stylish cherry fruit on the nose, cherry to raspberry on the palate, a little tannin to help the structure, but essentially on the fruit, pure and classy. Drink from 2025-2028.
