Tasting Notes
The fruit for Alvina Pernot’s entry-level cuvée comes from two parcels – Rue de Bois (around their new winery) and Femelottes (neighbouring Les Reuchaux). The result is a fresh, vibrant and juicy Bourgogne Blanc. The wine is layered with green apple, citrus and a chalky minerality. Pure and concentrated, this is excellent value.

A blend of two parcels Femmelottes and a parcel adjacent to the winer, the 2020 Bourgogne Côte d’Or has an attractive bouquet with citrus fruit and lime, well defined and focused. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, reassuringly malic with a saline twist on the finish.
Pretty pale lemon, very clean. The vineyards, both above the main road, are Femelottes and Rue de Bois which will be separated in 2021. Clean pure and chiselled with significant volume, a little bit of barrel. Good grip here, most attractive.
