The 2007 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatieres is flat-out great. This bristles with energy and cool, mineral-infused tension. From time to time the wine’s fruit makes an appearance, but this is really quite reticent today. Still, there are more than enough flashes of brilliance to make me hope to have another opportunity with this wine in the future. It is simply dazzling. Anticipated maturity: 2015+.
