Tasting Notes
Located across the road from Chateau Clinet, this Pomerol has been on a roll since 2006. Blending 93% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc, the wine opens with chocolate, truffle, black raspberry and plum. Very supple, rich and plush, this Pomerol finishes with lush chocolate-covered plums. theWineCellarInsider.com

This is really well done with roses, raspberries and blueberries. Full and super silky textured with an outstanding finish. Lovely length. Sexy. jamessuckling.com
Deep crimson hue. Sweet and ripe on the palate yet oak is a touch invading. Good fruit and intensity and the finish is firm and dry. Drink 2018-2025. Decanter.com
Two samples tasted although the first is not representative. The second displays attractive, rounded dark cherry fruit on the nose that is well defined and a little more generous than Jeremy Chasseuil’s wine is usually at this stage. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, masculine tannins. Dark and broody with fine tertiary flavours underneath, it has quite a spicy but foursquare finish that will need time to mellow. Enigmatic as ever. Tasted April 2012. Neal Martin, eRobertParker.com
