Tasting Notes
Sitting above Les Charmes, Perrières is protected on the east and west by woodland. The wine itself is so delicate and refined on the nose, almost aristocratic, with nice balance between ripe, buttery richness and floral, verbena and citrus notes. On the palate, it’s similarly concentrated and balanced – with density and depth. It keeps evolving, with layers of bitterness and creaminess on the mid-palate. Complex and expressive, this is pure pleasure – the best Meursault made at this address to date. Made with no new oak, this sets a new benchmark and is a real highlight of the line-up.
