Tasting Notes
This is a little lean, but it has some pleasant berry, herb and walnut character, with light to medium body and firm tannins.

Blended of 61% Merlot, 15 % Petit Verdot, and 24 % Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2023 Reynon gives up scents of fresh strawberries and cranberries with hints of dried herbs and graphite. The light to medium-bodied palate is lively and pure, though a little lean on med-palate fruit, finishing short and chewy.
The 2023 Reynon has a pleasant raspberry- and blackcurrant-scented bouquet, becoming more floral in the glass—quite "playful." The palate is medium-bodied with smooth tannins and well-judged acidity. It’s a little oaky on the mid-palate, and there is just a touch of heat on the finish that detracts from its precision.
The 2023 Reynon is a terrific entry-level offering from the Dubourdieu family. Crushed red berry fruit, spice, pomegranate, menthol and blood orange are nicely pushed forward. All the elements are so well balanced. Reynon is consistently delicious and also a great value. I would be very happy to own a case of this.
