Tasting Notes
A blend of 94% Semillon, 5% Sauvignon Blanc, and 1% Muscadelle, with 158 g/L residual sugar, the 2022 Coutet is pale to medium straw in color. After a little swirling, the nose erupts with gorgeous lime cordial, fresh grapefruit, and mandarin peel scents, followed by wafts of wet pebbles, freshly shaved ginger, and beeswax. The palate is vibrant and shimmery with fantastic intensity and tension, finishing long and layered.

Drink from 2025-2055. 94-96 Pts. Read more at:https://www.thewinecellarinsider.com/wine-tasting-note/?vintage=2022&wine=Chateau%20Coutet
Tempting dried fruit here with spice and floral character. Full and creamy with attractive acidity and a textural finish.
Luscious and sweet, sticky dates and crème caramel flavours, balanced by orange zest and lime. There is interest and contrast here, but even at this exceptional Barsac estate, owned by the Baly family, it is hard not to crave a little more lift.
