Tasting Notes
The 2020 Meursault Porusot 1er Cru has a tightly wound bouquet with hints of white flower and a touch of brioche developing in the glass. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh with impressive salinity on the finish. But it will require 3-5 years in bottle. Closure: Diam

Pale lemon and lime, this has an opulence on the nose, followed up by impressive density of fruit on the palate, almost with some tannins at the back, as well as a light acidity. 13.7% alcohol which shows in the plummier style of the fruit. Long and delicious though. Very concentrated, thanks in part to the old vines from the 1930s.
Cask sample. Mid lemon; quite the mixed basket of fruit, lemon, apple, peach and something more exotic. Complex and less clearly mineral than the Blagny. Finishing with that lip-smacking acidity.
