The 2016 Chambolle-Musigny Village was badly hit by frost, which reduced quantity to five barrels instead of the usual 12. It has a deep color. The nose has crisp blackberry and cranberry leaf aromas, direct and almost Morey-like in style. The palate is medium-bodied with quite a bit of oak, though it is in sync with the fruit and there is a fine confit-like finish. Dec 2017, www.robertparker.com
