Tasting Notes
Lovely purity of fruit on the nose, hints of cedar wood, red and dark fruits, menthol and spice with cooking meat juice, plenty of deep fruit, black cherry and hints of sweetness on the palate. Good acidity and a solid tannin structure, this lends itself as a food friendly wine, majoring on savoury notes and dried herbs and spices. Good length and delicious.

A ripe, concentrated effort that offers notes of plums, black cherries, licorice and leafy herbs and flowers, the 2012 Minervois Black Knight (70% Syrah, 20% Grenache and 10% Carignan) is medium to full-bodied, ripe and nicely textured, with juicy acidity in a very drinkable, Provencal style. Drink it over the coming 3-6 years.
