The single-vineyard red 2015 Terreus Paraje de Cueva Baja is pure Tempranillo from a warm and dry year. It's produced with a mixture of old and younger vines in the village of Tudela de Duero, El Almendro and La Senda. This ages exclusively in French oak barriques, and the elevage lasts some 20 months. This is the one of the 2015s less marked by the vintage, keeping the freshness, balance and floral aromas; it's open and expressive, with a super elegant palate with fine tannins and elegant acidity. It's soft and polished within its powerful style. Another great vintage for Terreus. This was really singing the day I tasted it. 8,830 bottles were filled in September 2017.
