Tasting Notes
Pretty balance and density to this wine with subtle fruit and soft and polished tannins. Everything seems harmonious and together. Mar 2017, www.jamessuckling.com

Hubert de Boüard and Alain Raynaud consulting. In the east of the appellation. Mix of terrains. Very dark purple. Luscious start and then refined tannins and fine structure. Rather fine. Juicy leather. Appetising. Apr 2017, www.jancisrobinson.com, Drink: 2024-2036
The 2016 Pindefleurs is an attractive midweight Saint-Émilion that shows a more restrained side of the vintage. Sweet floral, tobacco and savory notes lead into a core of bright red-toned fruits. Delicate and gracious in its overall feel, the Pindefleurs should drink nicely pretty much upon release. I would like to see the oak a bit more integrated, though. Tasted two times. The 2016 Pindefleurs is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. It has a well-defined and harmonious bouquet that dishes out some wonderful black cherry and redcurrant fruit, the new oak neatly integrated. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannin, beautifully balanced with a structured, tobacco-tinged finish that is almost Médoc-like in style. This is a great Saint Emilion that is going places—a sublime follow-up to the outstanding 2015 Pindefleurs. Apr 2017, www.robertparker.com, Drink: 2021-2040
