Tasting Notes
Bright and clean in the glass. Complex aromatics with citrus fruit and green apple notes giving way to honeysuckle and a deft touch of honey on the nose. On the palate there is excellent mineralite and acidity that keeps the wine immediately light and refreshing, beautifully balancing out the serious depth, power and concentration. The weight is supremely well-judged and the finish remarkable in a wine of this level. Outstanding.
Pale lemon in colour. Very aromatic at this young stage, white peach, honeysuckle and blossom leaping from the glass with a touch of ripe yellow pear. Nicely weighted and very fresh in the mouth. Shows the open and inviting nature of whites in the 2015 vintage but still very young and possessing of more than enough acid, fruit and texture to suggest that it will fill out and keep improving in bottle.
