Tasting Notes
The 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape from Raymond Usseglio has it all. Complex aromas of spice, leather and plum. Appealing flavors of red and black fruits. A rich, supple texture. A long, velvety finish that echoes with spice and citrus zest. This all-around performer should drink well for up to two decades.

(raised in a combination of concrete tanks and large wooden barrels) Vivid ruby. Ripe cherry and raspberry aromas are sharpened and lifted by a zesty mineral element. Sweet and seamless in texture, offering pliant red fruit and spicecake flavors and hints of candied lavender and white pepper. Closes sappy, spicy and long, showing subtle tannic grip and repeating raspberry and floral notes. Mar 2017, www.vinous.com
