Tasting Notes
A fresh white with sliced green apple, lemon rind and cream. Full body, bright acidity and a long and flavorful finish. Layered and very dense. Wonderful backbone. Mar 2016, JamesSuckling.com

Rich but energetic, with gooseberry, fennel and yellow apple notes forming the core, offset by bracing salted butter and thyme accents. Mar 2016, James Molesworth, www.WineSpectator.com
One of the stealth wines of the vintage, where the acidity – here zingy lime zest – builds slowly over the course of the palate, along with good tension and savoury herbs. Grasps on to the available freshness in the grapes and run with it. A lovely wine that will develop. Apr 2016, Jane Anson, www.Decanter.com, Drink: 2017-2027
Refined and understated, as it was in 2014, this is one of the whites of the vintage. Aromatic and alluring, with notes of sea breeze and oyster shell, subtle spicy oak and a backbone of tangy acidity. Impressive stuff from a château that continues to improve. About the producer

One of few estates classified for both red and white wine production, Malartic-Lagravière was renovated entirely after the Bonnie family purchased it in 1996. They also expanded the property to its current 53 hectares.
