Tasting Notes
A firm and silky red with blueberry and dark chocolate aromas and flavors. Full to medium body, serious core of fruit for the vintage. Mar 2016, www.JamesSuckling.com

Fresh and direct, featuring a ripe beam of kirsch and black cherry fruit augmented by lilac and iron notes. Balanced, with a gentle structure. Mar 2016, James Molesworth, www.WineSpectator.com
54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. First vintage in the new chai. Picked 20 September. Mid crimson, a bit paler and less blue than the 2014. Light and fresh on the nose – very fragrant and rather atypical for the vintage on the nose but lots of roundness on the palate. A little right banky? Very round and ripe. Atypical. Not quite the energy or refreshment value (nor acidity?) of the 2014. Jul 2017, www.jancisrobinson.com, Drink: 2023-2040
Definitely among the best St. Estèphes in 2015, this is a classic expression of the appellation, which shows no sign of rain-affected dilution at all. Rich tannins, plush, perfumed fruit and refined, granular tannins. A triumph over the elements. Apr 2016, www.timatkin.com, Drink: 2022-2032
