Bought by Angélus a few years ago. Just above Angélus. Vibrant and big and crimson. Very vital and direct. Apr 2016, www.JancisRobinson.com, Drink: 2022-2034

The perfume of this wine is very appealing indeed - floral and sweet fruited. The palate is an oakier affair, with quite a bit of extraction and a firm finish, but the wine should harmonise during its elevage, given Hubert de Boüard’s track record here. Apr 2016, www.timatkin.com, Drink: 2020-2028

Part-owned by Angélus and one of the best ever from this château. 100% Merlot. Succulent fruit but fresh and lively with the limestone terroir apparent. Long, structured finish. Harmonious. Apr 2016, James Lawther MW, www.Decanter.com, Drink: 2022-2035
