2014 Vosne Romanee Les Brulees

The 2014 Vosne Romanee 1er Cru Aux Brulees had a more floral bouquet in the making, nicely defined, just a touch of reduction to get through at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black cherry and raspberry fruit on the entry, nicely judged acidity, but just needing a little more precision to come through on the finish. If that transpires, then it will certainly deserve a higher score, but I will be prudent for now. Dec 2015, www.robertparker.com
