The 2011 Malbec Catena Zapata Nicasia Vineyard is a single-vineyard Malbec that was barrel fermented with 8% whole-cluster Cabernet Franc. The really heady, open and showy nose has nice ripeness, notes of violets and aromatic herbs. There is perfect ripeness and ultra-polished tannins that are juicy and very tasty. 8,000 bottles produced. Aug 2015, www.robertparker.com
