This medium weight red has elegant flavours, not extracted or dense. The tannins are ripe and round and there is an obvious lightness of touch in the winemaking. The tannins, which needed to be properly managed in this vintage, are well handled. Medium length. asianpalate.com

A wine that is almost salty as well as fruity. Full, juicy and lightly chewy. jamessuckling.com

Beautifully extracted cassis fruit, already showing complexity, tightly-knit and will age well. Drink 2015-25. Steven Spurrier, decanter.com
