Tasting Notes
A wine, with beautiful flowers, hazelnut and chocolate and dark fruits. It is dense and tight with beautiful quality of tannins. Goes on and on. Texture is amazing. Don't miss it. Second wine of Pomerol's legendary Lafleur. Try in 2016. James Suckling, jamessuckling.com

Dark chocolate, black cherry and blackberry. Full-bodied, with very silky tannins and lots of chocolate and berry flavors. I love the length to this. it goes on for minutes. Second wine of Lafleur
A blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Franc, the Pensees has a taut, minerally nose with blackberry, briary and black olive that blossoms with time. The palate is fresh and very well balanced, a real exuberance and joie de vivre to this wine, building towards a structured, very focused, crisp finish. Lovely wine. Tasted April 2010.
Deep crimson, 50/50 Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Very heady and rich and aroma of foxgloves. Lively and fresh and zesty. Much more aérien than most right- bank 2009s! Polished and racy. Animal and lively. Graceful but a bit dry on the end but seriously good wine. ‘More serious than usual’, says the son. Certainly very structured.
