The deep ruby purple 2010 La Dame de Montrose exudes aromas of vibrant blackberries, cherries, plum, spices and hint of cedar, oak, followed on the palate by tobacco and cocoa flavours. The ripe velvety tannins give the wine a silky finish. This is a very detailed and beautifully made Dame, all delicacy and finesse, with great length. Jeannie Cho Lee MW asianpalate.com
The finesse in this wine is impressive for a second wine with wonderful polish. The finish is very beautiful. 64 percent Cabernet Sauvignon and 36 percent Merlot. jamessuckling.com
Rich smoky cassis fruit, good middle sweetness and lift, less depth than expected. Drink 2015-20. (16 points) Steven Spurrier, decanter.com
