Vinsobres

In the Southern Rhône, Vinsobres produces rich and characterful red wines, made from Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre. The climate is hot and dry, with limestone soils found on the slopes and more alluvial soils on the flatter land. The wines can offer a good-value alternative to Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
