Vacqueyras

Granted AOC status in 1990, Vacqueyras is a village in the Southern Rhône that produces reds, often dominated by Grenache, and rival Gigondas and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The best vineyards are on the steep slopes of the foothills around the village, producing bold and expressive wines.
