Home to the original Super Tuscans, Bolgheri is one of Italy’s most prestigious wine regions. Established as an official appellation in 1994 – in reaction to the rebellious “vini da tavola” (table wines) of Sassicaia, Tignanello et alia – Bolgheri is now a heartland of Italian fine wine.
