FINE+RARE, Feb 2025
As with its white sibling, Maison Leroy’s 2018 Savigny-lès-Beaune could be mistaken for a Corton blind. It has such a concentrated, solar nose with a darker fruit profile. There’s density on the palate too, the wine fleshy and rich, but not heavy. It’s nicely balanced, with delicate tannin structure and a precise finish. It’s as juicy as it is approachable.

Maison Leroy
The négociant arm of Lalou Bize-Leroy's Burgundy empire is Maison Leroy. The Leroy name provides a seal of Madame Leroy's approval and the very finest quality, with the wines released only when she deems them ready to drink. They are undoubtedly some of the most sought-after bottlings in the region.
