Tasting Notes
Olivier Bernstein’s Bonnes-Mares is superlative in 2022 – and, tasting en primeur, was our pick of his seven Grands Crus. The floral nose is elegant yet powerful with intense, crushed red berries. There’s a generous first kick to this full-bodied wine, which has vibrant, supple tannins. The red fruit washes across the mid-alate, making it deliciously refreshing, before a long, succulent finish. Succulent, full of grace and energy, this is sublime and will benefit from a decade of cellaring, even if it’s showing well, (and almost ready to drink!) now.
