2021 Le Montrachet

This is ridiculously good – Chardonnay as it should be. The nose shifts constantly, with rich, nutty tones alongside lemon peel, peach, honeycomb and honeysuckle. It’s round and supple, voluptuous with a tight fruit core and taut line of acidity that restrains its generosity. The finish is long with sweet, nutty, honeyed tones. Exclusively available from FINE+RARE, this is always a very good wine – but in 2021 it’s outstanding.
