Tasting Notes
The colour of this wine is welcoming, transparent ruby and jewel-like. The nose is more powerful than you’d expect from this appearance, however, with sweet spice and tobacco aromas, supported by a palette of woodland fruit – wild strawberry, raspberry and redcurrants. There is good concentration to this multi-dimensional, full-bodied Pinot Noir. The tannins and acidity are wedded together brilliantly, offering an extravagantly long finish, that lasts a full minute. It’s absolutely delicious now, even if five or six years of cellaring will help the wine to settle and the oak to integrate completely.
