FINE+RARE, Oct 2022
In the cool 2021 vintage, this is a real highlight – the decadence of the site playing beautifully with the high acidity and restraint of the year’s wines. It shows incredible intensity and weight of ripe pear, peach and white currant fruit, but balanced by a citrus pith freshness and saline purity. Notes of toast, sweet vanilla and spice from the classy new oak provide the top notes. It’s glossy and voluptuous, yet bright and vibrant with tension.
