Tasting Notes
The Hilt 2019 Single-Vineyard Collection Case contains three bottles (75cl) each of 2019 Radian Pinot Noir and 2019 Bentrock Pinot Noir. The Hilt is one of Santa Barbara’s most exciting estates, rapidly earning a reputation for itself since its first vintage in 2014, and these two cuvées are the property’s top Pinot Noir bottlings. The 2019 vintage was outstanding – allowing The Hilt to produce their finest wines to date, with glowing critic reviews. Jeb Dunnuck was “blown away” by the Bentrock Pinot Noir and describes the Radian Pinot Noir as “flawlessly balanced”. He awarded the wines their highest scores to date, both 97 points, calling them “utterly seamless”. Antonio Galloni was also hugely impressed describing the Radian as “a Pinot of remarkable gravitas and personality” (96 points), while the Bentrock is a wine with “tremendous energy and focus” (94+ points). Secure both in this Collection Case from the star producer.
