FINE+RARE, Aug 2022
This bottling of 1984 Pommard Premier Cru Boucherottes comes courtesy of the illustrious Maison Leroy. This vineyard borders Beaune’s famous Clos des Mouches, but has similar traits to Pommard’s Les Grand Epenots Premier Cru, which is rustic in youth but matures beautifully with age.

Maison Leroy
The négociant arm of Lalou Bize-Leroy's Burgundy empire is Maison Leroy. The Leroy name provides a seal of Madame Leroy's approval and the very finest quality, with the wines released only when she deems them ready to drink. They are undoubtedly some of the most sought-after bottlings in the region.
