This 15-year-old single malt from the Orkney-based Highland Park is striking and complex. Master Whisky Maker Gordon Motion predominantly selected Sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks for their warm, spicy and sweet vanilla notes respectively. He then softened and smoothed the overall characteristics with a select number of refill casks. The special whisky has been bottled in ceramic decanters which are inspired by the traditional earthenware vessels that were used to store spirits centuries ago.
