FINE+RARE, Oct 2020
Despite its relatively flat, low-lying topography, Narbantons is one of the finest Premier Cru sites in Savigny thanks to its clay-rich, ferrous-veined terroir. The 2019 from Jadot has a lovely balance between rich, ripe, candied, cherry fruit and a cooler, earthy, crushed-rock, mineral freshness. The tannins are beautifully tender but structural enough to add real depth to the wine. The overall balance and structure will see it age beautifully over 10 to 15 years.
