Tasting Notes
The Grand Cru of Les Blanchots was another exceptional wine from Long-Depaquit in 2019. Much tighter and more tensile than the Grand Cru of Les Bougros alongside it, there is richness, rather than ripeness. With volume, power and presence, the wine is still lean and linear. The aromatic spectrum is fascinating – from flinty mineral tones, to passion fruit, to pepper spice – with a mineral backbone that places you firmly in the cooler Grand Cru site of Les Blanchots. It builds to a long, sustained finish.
