About the producer
Blanton’s is a relative newcomer to the American whiskey category, launched by the Buffalo Trace Kentucky distillery in 1984. Master Distiller Elmer T Lee created the single-barrel Bourbon the year before his retirement after he was given the mandate to produce a new whiskey.
