Champagne Henri Giraud

Henri Giraud is one of the most exciting and pioneering Champagne houses today. Based in Äy, the property’s story begins in the early 17th century, when the Hémart family settled in the region.

The vineyards were destroyed by phylloxera, but re-established by Léon Giraud – who married into the family at the beginning of the 20th century, and grafted new cuttings onto American rootstocks. The property has stayed in the family ever since.
