L’Hêtre

Jacques Thienpont – owner of one of Bordeaux’s most celebrated estates, Le Pin – fell in love with the view from L’Hêtre when he first visited the property. He purchased the Côtes de Castillon estate, which offers a brilliant introduction to the Thienpont stable at an affordable pricepoint.

L’Hêtre combines two older estates. The first part of the estate – and one that inspired Jacques Thienpont initially – was previously known as Ch.Goubau, a 10-hectare property that had been owned and managed by Stéphane and Béatrice Goubau for a decade.
