About Viña Cobos

Paul Hobbs first visited Argentina in 1988 and fell in love with the landscape, the soil, the climate and the people. Working as a consultant for Catena Zapata, he was one of a handful that pioneered quality varietal Malbec wines. He was also the first to export Malbec to the US market, putting Argentina on American consumers’ radar for wine.
