The Jura domaine was set up by André and Mireille Tissot in 1962. By 1990, their son Stéphane (who had previously trained in Burgundy) had started to work alongside them. Stéphane convinced his father André to farm organically, and they were certified in 1999, becoming Demeter-certified biodynamic in 2004.
