Based in Chambolle-Musigny, the domaine was established by Georges Roumier in 1924. The domaine started to bottle their own wines in 1945.
About the producer
Of Georges Roumier’s seven children, it was his son Jean-Marie who took over the estate in 1957. Jean-Marie’s son, Christophe, joined him in 1982, taking the reins fully 10 years later, in 1992. During Christophe’s tenure, the domaine rapidly gained recognition and earned a loyal following.
