About the producer
The original winery and cellar, Palazzo Altesi, has been in operation since the 15th century and is situated in the northeastern hills of Montalcino in Tuscany. It has 100 hectares in total, of which half is under vine.

Altesino is one of the top producers in Brunello di Montalcino. The estate is famous for bottling the first separate Cru from the Montosoli hill, which has since become widely recognised for its distinct, elegant style of Brunello.
