Q: HOW DO YOU MANAGE SUCH AN EXCEPTIONAL CHOICE OF WINES?
A: We believe that choice is today's Holy Grail for fine wine collectors and it's true that our range is almost unbelievably huge, currently above 70,000 listings and always climbing (worth well over a staggering £150 million). None of the listings are made up - we manage this huge range by employing a specialist team of Data Managers solely responsible for importing all new lists and offers from many hundreds of suppliers into our 'WineDesk' database where market prices and listings for sale are controlled and generated. With our Sales Team constantly updating availabilities against live enquiries and orders we ensure data is kept fresh and that our customers are rarely disappointed. It's your satisfaction that lies behind our success.
Q: ARE ANY WINES AVAILABLE NOW?
A: Yes - many wines we list are lying in our cellars, on sale of behalf of 'Reservists'. Reservists are a mixture of private and trade stockholders who are disposing of wines through us (add wines to your portfolio). The quantities and values vary considerably as consignments arrive and are sold, but we usually have at least around £6 million (GBP) of Reservist wines ready for immediate delivery. This is as much as, often more than, many other fine wine merchants hold in stock.
Q: HOW DO I FIND A PARTICULAR WINE?
A: Using the intuitive Smart Search should find your target wine immediately. Setting criteria in Detailed Search creates your own shopping list. Alternatively email firstname.lastname@example.org and one of our experienced Account Managers will help source the wine you're after.
Q: HOW LONG DO I WAIT?
A: Typically our European collection cycle (from source to you via our UK warehouse) takes between 6 to 8 weeks. Often less, but occasionally more depending on certain things such as weather (we don't ship during heat waves or ultra-cold snaps) and other unforeseen delays (like French Customs strikes!).
Q: HOW DOES DELIVERY WORK?
A: For UK Mainland (excluding Highlands and Islands) delivery is charged at £16 plus VAT for up to 10 cases. Thereafter we charge at cost. For Hong Kong deliveries we offer a door-to-door service by air or sea (view more information). For Singapore deliveries, we now also offer a door-to-door service by sea (view more information). Q: WHEN DO I PAY?
A: Invoices are payable at the time of order confirmation. This means that the wine you ordered is secured for you at the done-deal price - you can get updates on its whereabouts at any time.

A: Using our online, no-obligation portfolio tool gives you an instant valuation which you can either commit to sale through us, or save for future reference.
Q: CAN I RELY ON YOUR VALUATIONS?
A: The valuation system of our portfolio tool is totally transparent, showing what your wines are worth, our sale margin and the net total. Everything is made clear and an easy to follow explanation of how selling works is provided to guide you.
Q: CAN I STORE ALL MY WINE WITH YOU?

A: We have a team of knowledgeable Account Managers to help you, whether you are someone new to fine wines or a serious and established collector. Q: DO YOU DO GIFTS, WEDDINGS ETC?
A: As wholesalers we don't offer a gift solution and functions are not a strong point for us given the nature of our typical shipping cycle. But a search within immediately available wines might provide a solution.
